In a notable recognition of his expertise and contributions to aesthetic medicine, Dr. Mir Shahnawaz, a leading dermatologist, laser specialist, and hair transplant surgeon, has been appointed as the Regional Vice President for Jammu & Kashmir by the Face Aesthetic Dermatologists Society (FADS).
FADS is one of India’s premier organizations dedicated to advancing excellence, ethical practice, and research in aesthetic dermatology. The society brings together top professionals from across the country to foster knowledge exchange and establish high clinical standards.
Dr. Shahnawaz, who leads DERMIS Skin, Laser & Hair Transplant Clinic in Srinagar, is renowned for his proficiency in advanced laser treatments, facial rejuvenation techniques, and hair restoration procedures. He has built a strong reputation for delivering safe, evidence-based care with consistently successful outcomes.
In his new role, Dr. Shahnawaz will lead academic initiatives and professional development programs for dermatologists across Jammu & Kashmir, strengthening the region’s presence in the national aesthetic medicine landscape.
