Kupwara, July 06: Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi, Minister of State and Chairperson of J&K Waqf Board, paid a visit to the enchanting Bangus Valley in Kupwara district on Thursday. During her visit, she engaged with various public delegations, attentively listening to their concerns and issues. Recognizing the tremendous tourism potential of the valley, Dr. Andrabi emphasized the importance of developing eco-friendly infrastructure and tourist facilities to unlock its true beauty and attract more visitors.
Bangus Valley, often referred to as a paradise of virgin beauty, offers breathtaking landscapes and untouched natural wonders. However, to harness its tourism potential and provide a memorable experience for visitors, the valley requires essential amenities and sustainable infrastructure. Dr. Andrabi expressed her commitment to addressing this need, stating that she would soon present a comprehensive report and recommendations to the government.
Speaking to the media, Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi remarked, “Bangus Valley holds immense potential as a tourist destination. However, we must prioritize the creation of eco-friendly infrastructure and facilities that align with the valley’s pristine environment. Our aim is to strike a balance between tourism development and environmental preservation.”
