Ganderbal, Apr 23: Aamir Bhat, the Democratic Progressive Azad Party’s candidate for the Srinagar parliamentary constituency, on Tuesday launched his election campaign in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Accompanied by senior party leaders, including District President Qaisar Jin, Bhat embarked on his campaign trail.
During his address to party members, Bhat criticised the region’s traditional political parties like the National Conference and People’s Democratic Party, alleging that they have neglected the Ganderbal district despite securing support based on unfulfilled promises. He said there is a need for change and pledged to prioritise key issues affecting the district.
Bhat outlined his vision for the district, highlighting key priorities such as youth employment, educational advancement, improvements in healthcare facilities, securing land rights for locals, and enhancing the overall stability of Jammu and Kashmir.
District President Qaisar Jin echoed Bhat’s sentiments and urged party workers to rally behind the party’s vision for a brighter future for the residents of Ganderbal.
