DLSA Budgam celebrates UT Foundation Day at Al-Asma School

In a resplendent celebration of unity and progress, the District Legal Services Authority, Budgam, under the aegis of the Jammu & Kashmir Legal Services Authority, in collaboration with Al-Asma Educational Institute, Budgam, commemorated the “UT Foundation Day” with a grand event that left an indelible mark on all participants.

The event took place at Al-Asma Educational Institute, Budgam and the event was organized under the able guidance of Hon’ble Chairman DLSA, Budgam.

A significant highlight of the event was the gracious presence of Jahangir Bakshi, Secretary of DLSA, Budgam, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Bakshi delivered a powerful address that shed light on the remarkable transformation in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir since the year 2019.

“The UT Foundation Day celebration is not just a mark on the calendar; it’s a celebration of our journey towards a more prosperous and harmonious society,” emphasized Mr. Bakshi.

He praised the collaborative efforts of the J&K Legal Services Authority, District Legal Services Authority, Budgam and Al-Asma Educational Institute, acknowledging their dedication to fostering positive change in the District.

The event saw the active participation of distinguished individuals, including Aga Syed Ahmad, Chairman of Al-Asma Educational Institute, Budgam, and Principal Neelam Shafi, staff members of both Al-Asma Educational Institute and DLSA, Budgam, as well as dedicated Paralegal Volunteers from DLSA, Budgam.

As part of the celebration, a “Swachhata Hi Sewa” cleanliness drive was conducted within the premises of Al-Asma Educational Institute.

This initiative showcased the commitment of the participants to the broader goal of creating a cleaner and more environmentally conscious community.

The event underscored the importance of social responsibility and the role each individual plays in the broader vision of progress and unity.

Chairman, Aga Syed Ahmad expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the collaboration between Al-Asma Educational Institute and DLSA, Budgam as the event left a lasting impact, reminding all in attendance of the positive changes taking place in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, and the collective efforts that continue to shape a brighter future for all its citizens.
