District volleyball championship concludes in Shopian

Srinagar, Sep 29: District Volleyball championship organised by the Volleyball players of the district Shopian, under the aegis of Volleyball Association of Jammu and Kashmir concluded in Shopian on Wednesday.
As per the officials a total of 16 teams including 12 boys and four girls (teams) participated in said championship.
In the final match of boys category, Nagbal Volleyball Club beat Valley SpikersWoyen by 3-1 sets with a set score of 27-25, 25-21, 20-25 and 25-22.
ACE volleyball Club Shopian beat Government Degree College Shopian by straight 3 sets in girls category.
The final ceremony was started in the presence of the Chief Guest IrfanManhas DDC chairman shopian and Prof. Tariq Hussain Mir vice-principal I.M GDC Shopian and Nilofer Habib Secretary Volleyball Association Kulgam.
At the end of the championship chief-guest along with other special guests distributed trophies among the participants of the championship. The championship was sponsored by Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council.
