District Kathua Yogasan Sports Association organize Yoga Championship in Billawar

Kathua, May 29: The Jammu and Kashmir Yogasan Association in collaboration with J&K State Sports Council on Monday organized fourth Yoga Championship at Sant bal Yogeshwar Vidya Mandir Dadwara Tehsil Billower of Kathua District where in Students from both Government as well as private schools participated and performed the Yoga. 
 
The Chief Guest who graced the occasion was BDC Billower Ashok Kumar whereas guest of honour was Principal of the school Savita Sharma. 
About sixty five students participated in this Fourth District Kathua Yogasan championship and these Students were prior to the commenced of this Championship given the syllabus in regards to the performing of the Compulsory asan and Optional asan. Students performed the Yogasan to their sublime and lucidity. 
The Chief Judge were Sunita Verma, Angrez Singh and Balvinder in this Championship. 
Chief Judge and Yoga Instructor Sunita Verma divulged Yoga now become part of the game adding, which is really good move and this would a long way in the shaping the career prospectus of the youngsters coupled with also make physically fit and stress free. She stressed that we all humans should perform Yoga better we say irrespective of age all should conduct Yoga daily rather make it as a part of the life. This is true fact that by performing one can even get rid of several ailments. 
 
“As we have conducted this Yogasan championship the very motoo of this championship was that to take our students to next level meaning there by at National level” Sunita Verma vociferously replied to a query of the scribe in question. 
She lamented that all the sixty five students have been given certificates as a token of appreciation where as those students who secured 1st, 2nd and third rank they have been given Medals as well as certificates. 
In Boys Junior category Hardik Upadhya first, Second Rajneesh Sharma and 3rd Anirudh Thakur. 
In 9-14 years girls category Sanvi Mahajan first, Sanskrit Thakur second and 3rd Navidit Sharma. 
In 14-18 years boys category Rohit kumar First, Koshak Sharma Second and Avinash 3rd.
14-18 years girls category Nitya Dogra first, Bansi parachika second and Jeevika third. 
18 years above Boys category Nitin Sharma. first position.
Among others who were present in this Championship were President of the District Kathua Yogasan Association Ram Gopal Sharma, Organizing secretary Angrez Singh, Technical Secretary Monica Thakur and Member Nirmal Sharma.
