Srinagar, Feb 18: Director Health Services Kashmir, Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Rathar on Sunday conducted surprise inspections of Sub-District Hospitals (SDH) in Soibugh and Beerwah to evaluate the functionality and quality of healthcare services being delivered to public.
The visits were aimed to provide the Director with firsthand insight into the operational efficiency and patient care standards of these vital healthcare facilities.
He was accompanied by a team of healthcare professionals. The director took assessment of various aspects of the hospitals’ operations, including infrastructure, medical equipment, staff availability, and patient care protocols.
During the inspections, the Director emphasized the importance of ensuring that the hospitals are equipped to provide the best possible healthcare services to the local communities.
This directive was conveyed unequivocally to the local health authorities, following categoric instructions from Dr Syed Abid Rashid Shah, Secretary of Health and Medical Education.
Recognizing the critical role of these healthcare institutions in safeguarding public health, the Director reaffirmed the department’s commitment to upholding high standards of care and service delivery across Kashmir hospitals.
