Kulgam, Mar 20: With an aim to give a major push to sports activities, DDC Chairperson Kulgam cum DDC Member Pombay Mohd Afzal Parrey, on Monday interacted with Youth at Panchayat GharMirhama of District Kulgam and distributed Cricket Kits among youth.
While interacting with the youth, DDC Chairperson asked them to take up sports along with academics and channelize their potential in full.
On the occasion, the DDC said that sports activities have a significant impact on the Physical and mental development of youth adding that games inculcate sportsmanship qualities.
Present on the occasion were DDC Member GhMohi-ud-din, DYSSO and other officers and officials of the DYSS office.
The community members especially the youth showed extraordinary enthusiasm and applauded the role of Chairperson DDC Kulgam for arranging & providing such facilities in order to boost their morale.
