Srinagar, Jan 29: Central University of Kashmir (CUK) has announced the launch of a dedicated coaching-cum-counselling initiative for aspirants preparing for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) and the National Eligibility Test (NET), starting from the academic session 2025. This initiative, unveiled by Vice-Chancellor Prof. A. Ravinder Nath, during a press conference, underscores the university’s commitment to enhancing student success.
The coaching programme will be conducted in three phases: the first phase will cater to CUET PG aspirants, the second phase will focus on CUET UG aspirants, and the third phase will be dedicated to NET aspirants.
Registration for the programme will be conducted online with a nominal fee of ₹200, and the notification along with the registration link will be issued in the first week of February 2025. The one-week online coaching programme is scheduled to commence in the second week of February 2025. The sessions will be led by CUET toppers and experienced faculty members from various departments, equipping students with the necessary strategies and skills to excel in the admission tests conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
The media persons were also informed about the ongoing PG admission process through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). “For the 2025-26 academic session, CUKashmir is part of CUET (PG) – 2025, offering admissions to 18 postgraduate courses. The admission process for these programmes is currently underway, with the last date for submission of applications set for 1st February 2025,” CUKashmir Vice Chancellor, said, adding the CUET platform provides students the opportunity to seek admission in higher education institutions across India, for the test in their respective locations.
