Bandipora, April 19: The classwork in the primary schools across the Baramulla district of north Kashmir were suspended due to persistent rainfall. Nevertheless, teachers remained present at their respective schools.
The Chief Education Officer (CEO) of Bandipora informed Rising Kashmir that all primary schools in the district were closed because of the ongoing rainfall. “However, teachers fulfilled their duties. Classes for students in middle, high and higher secondary schools continued as per the regular schedule,” he said. In the Gurez Sub-Division, class activities have been suspended up to the middle school level due to the continuous rainfall and snowfall into the area.
