Bukhari welcomes political leaders, activists into Apni Party

Srinagar, May 05: Apni Party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, along with his senior party colleagues, on Monday gave a warm welcome to a large group of political leaders and senior activists from south Kashmir who joined the party during a special event organised here.
The new joinees included Sheikh Muzaffar Ahmed, former president of the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Nationalist Front, and his scores of colleagues, the party said in a statement issued here.
Speaking on occasion, Altaf Bukhari extended warm greetings to the new members in the party fold. He said, “It always gives me immense pleasure to welcome new members to the Apni Party, which is dedicated to serving the people of Jammu and Kashmir and striving for lasting peace and stability in the region. I strongly believe that, united, we will succeed in implementing the Apni Party’s agenda, which is rooted in our politics of truth and integrity.”
Bukhari added, “Today, I wholeheartedly welcome you to this party and assure you that this organisation will prove to be a reliable platform, offering you ample opportunities to serve the people in your respective areas.”
Party’s General Secretary Rafi Ahmed Mir also addressed the occasion. While welcoming the new members into the party fold, Mir said, “I am confident that your joining will enhance our presence and further strengthen our cadre in your respective areas. It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to the party fold.”
Besides Bukhari and Mir, the prominent party leaders who were present in this event included Chairman of the party’s Parliamentary Affairs Committee (PAC) Mohammad Dilawar Mir, Provincial President Mohammad Ashraf Mir, Chief Spokesperson & State Secretary Muntazir Mohiudin, Media Advisor Farooq Andrabi, Spokesperson & former legislator Yawar Dilawar Mir, Provincial Secretary Kashmir Syed Najeeb Naqvi, DDC Member Harwan & Provincial Organiser & Constituency Incharge Hazratbal Shabir Reshi, Ishtiyaq Khan, Fardeen, and others.
