Jammu, Jan 11: Security agencies have now established some specific information regarding the possible presence of terrorists in Rajouri and its surrounding areas, SSP Rajouri, Mohd Aslam said, nine days after the horrifying terrorist assault in the Dhangri hamlet of Rajouri District.
Rising Kashmir was informed by SSP Rajouri, Mohd Aslam, that “We have now received some very precise information regarding the presence of terrorists in Rajouri, Kalakote, and Kandi,” adding that “Intense combing and search operation has been initiated in these three districts to hunt down the terrorists.”
The SSP said, “After the precise information gained during inquiry in the Dhangri terror attack, our major emphasis to find the terrorists is now in these regions of Rajouri.”
Kalakote is at around near thirty five (35) kms from Rajouri. Kandi village is also in Budhal area of Rajouri District.
The SSP said that “the combing and search operation has been intensified in these three locations and we are hopeful to track down the terrorists, adding, as per specific inputs, it is clear that the terrorists have not crossed across from Rajouri.
The SSP, however, did not divulge further details in the matter and the ongoing questioning from the suspects citing security and other concerns.
Over 50 suspects have so far been detained by the security agencies for questioning for helping and sheltering the terrorists who killed innocent civilians in Dhangri village of Rajouri District.
Meanwhile, sources said that intense search operation has been launched jointly by Police, CRPF and the Army in Rajouri, Kalakote and Kandi to hunt down the terrorists who carried out the most barbaric attack on January 1 and 2.
Seveninnocent civilians were killed by the terrorists in Dhangri village of Rajouri District, while fourteen others were injured in the most horrific terror attack on January 1st and 2nd which shamed the entire humanity.
It has already been exclusively reported by the Rising Kashmir that the terrorists, who killed innocent civilians in Dhangri village of Rajouri District were being instructed from across the border.
