Former Chief Minister and National Conference Vice-President Omar Abdullah said that Bhartiya Janta Party is scared of conducting elections in Jammu and Kashmir as they know they’ll lose badly because of their behaviour with people in the UT.
Omar Abdullah said, “Elections were held in Tripura & Nagaland, next month they’ll be held in Karnataka. When elections can take place there, why can’t they happen in J&K? BJP is scared of conducting elections here as they know they’ll lose badly because of their behaviour with people here.”
“We have wrong notion that the people of Jammu are happy with the BJP. We saw the reality when SSB protests happened in Jammu that forced BJP to make statements against their own Lieutenant Governor”, he said
