Party leaders directed to actively engage with people
Baramulla, Nov 20: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Membership Drive Incharge for Kashmir, Arif Raja on Wednesday convened a crucial review meeting at the party’s district office here to “strengthen the grassroots network”.
The meeting saw the participation of key party leaders, including the district presidents of Baramulla, Kupwara, and Bandipora, along with Prabharis, Morcha Presidents, District Membership Incharges, and their Co-Incharges, a statement issued here said.
Presided over by Arif Raja and Mudasir Wani, the session involved detailed discussions on the ongoing membership drive. Raja called for expanding the drive on a larger scale and directed the need for party workers to actively mobilise support and reach out to the public. “The strength of the BJP lies in the active participation of its members. Increased efforts are needed to enroll new members,” he said.
Raja underlined the necessity of a strategic and organised approach, especially in remote areas, to ensure the drive’s success. He urged leaders to focus on reaching out to every household in their regions to boost the party’s presence and fortify its grassroots support.
Mudasir Wani encouraged effective coordination and unity among all members to ensure the drive’s success. The meeting concluded with a unanimous commitment to launch the membership drive on a larger scale and work towards further strengthening the BJP’s presence in Jammu and Kashmir, the statement said.
