Srinagar, Aug 06: BJP spokesperson and Social Media Prabhari Abhijeet Jasrotia on Sunday said the party’s “unyielding” commitment to alleviate the suffering and challenges faced by the residents of Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) remains “unwavering”.
The BJP’s dedication to fostering integration and unity with India for the people of PoJK underscores their resolve to establish enduring harmony, Jasrotia said in a statement issued here.
He highlighted the “enduring” journey of Jammu and Kashmir towards peace, progress, and development post the abrogation of Article 370 and said the significant move by the Government of India has paved the way for a renewed era of growth and solidarity in the region.
“While the common populace of Jammu and Kashmir has boldly embraced a future brimming with potential, a handful of local politicians persist in clinging to the pre-abrogation period. These politicians continue to make hollow promises to the people, seeking to misguide them by suggesting a return to the past,” he said.
The spokesperson emphasized the importance of channeling efforts towards forging a prosperous future rather than dwelling on historical matters.
The BJP has played a pivotal role in steering the people of Jammu and Kashmir away from the shadows of uncertainty, he said.
“As the region embarks on a new chapter of growth and development, the BJP extends an open invitation to all stakeholders to unite in the collective pursuit of a stronger and more harmonious Jammu and Kashmir. The party remains resolute in delivering on its promise of progress, stability, and brighter prospects for the people of the region,” Jasrotia said.
