Bakshi Stadium set to host R- Day celebrations: DC Sgr

Srinagar, Jan 11: Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi-ud-din, expressed confidence in the district’s preparations for the upcoming 26th January celebrations at Bakshi Stadium.
Speaking to Rising Kashmir, Dr. Bilal assured that thorough reviews and coordination meetings have been conducted to ensure a smooth and successful event.
The DC highlighted that all departments are working in close collaboration, each assigned specific tasks to make the event a grand success. The Roads & Buildings (R&B) department, the cultural team, and the distribution units are all actively involved in the preparations.
Security measures have also been heightened in anticipation of large gatherings. “We are expecting a large number of attendees for the Republic Day celebrations, and necessary security protocols are in place to ensure the safety of everyone,” said Dr. Mohiuddin.
“We are geared up and ready for the event,” he added, expressing optimism about the smooth execution of the day’s activities. The DC stated that all necessary arrangements have been made to cover every aspect of the celebration, from security to logistics.
“We are hopeful that everything will be done properly, and the celebrations will be a success,” Dr. Bilal Mohiuddin concluded, expressing confidence in the collaborative efforts of all departments involved.
