Srinagar, June 13: Army Goodwill School, Wuzur, run under the aegis of the Chinar Corps, on Thursday announced the selection of three of its exceptional students for ISRO’s prestigious YUVIKA-2024 programme.
This achievement was secured through a rigorous online screening test, underscoring the students’ remarkable potential and dedication, PRO Defence said in a statement issued here.
He said the selected students participated in a 14-day residential programme hosted at ISRO’s residential centre in Dehradun. “The programme was designed to ignite a passion for space science among young minds, providing an immersive learning experience that blended theoretical knowledge with hands-on activities. Through this initiative, ISRO aims to cultivate scientific curiosity and inspire the next generation of space enthusiasts,” he said.
This remarkable opportunity was made possible under the mentorship and guidance of teachers, the principal, and the unwavering support of the Bharathi Airtel Foundation, the PRO said, adding that their support underscores the importance of collaborative efforts in nurturing young talent and fostering educational growth.
