Arco FC’s former captain selected to represent J&K in Santosh Trophy Team

Srinagar, Oct 17:  In a moment of pride, former captain of Arco FC, Kamran Hameed, has been selected to represent Jammu and Kashmir in the prestigious Santosh Trophy.
Hameed’s journey from local hero to an exceptional player representing J&K speaks volumes as to how Arco FC has played a pivotal role in shaping the career of this exceptional athlete, the statement issued by the football club said.
During his time at Arco FC, the player displayed exceptional skills, leadership qualities, and a dedication to the sport that set him apart, the statement said, adding, the club provided the perfect platform for him to refine his abilities and instilled in him the values of teamwork and sportsmanship.
Arco FC’s dedicated coaching staff, state-of-the-art facilities, and a supportive community have been instrumental in honing his skills.
His journey from the local pitch to the UT’s premier football tournament is a testament to the club’s relentless pursuit of excellence, the football club stated.
Hameed in an exclusive interview credited Arco FC for his success. “My time at Arco FC was invaluable. The club not only polished my skills but also instilled in me a love for the game that continues to drive me today. I am deeply grateful for the opportunities and support I received here,” he said.
 Director of ARCO CEMENT, Imran Anim expressed immense pride in the player’s accomplishment.
 “We have always believed in nurturing talent and providing a platform for aspiring athletes to reach their full potential. This achievement reaffirms our commitment to the development of football in our region,” he stated.
According to the ARCO FC statement, his selection is not just a personal achievement but a reflection of the club’s unwavering commitment to football’s future stars.
The statement further said Arco FC will continue to be a beacon of hope for young talents, nurturing their dreams and helping them reach the pinnacle of the sport
