Apni Party’s Mir calls for strengthening grassroots outreach

Srinagar, Aug 18: Apni Party’s Provincial President Kashmir, Mohammad Ashraf Mir, on Monday urged party leaders and senior workers to intensify their political and public outreach activities to remain closely connected with the masses across the valley. He urged grassroots-level workers to identify public issues in their respective areas so that the party can highlight these issues for their swift redressal.Mir said this while chairing a party meeting here, which was attended by district-level leaders and senior workers. The meeting was aimed at discussing the prevailing political scenario and certain important party matters, the party said in a statement issued hereDuring the meeting, the participants shared feedback about the current political scenario from their respective areas and expressed their views and ideas for further strengthening the party at the grassroots level.The participants passed a condolence resolution on the recent loss of life in Kishtwar and Kathua due to the cloudbursts. They expressed grief and sorrow over these tragedies and expressed solidarity with the families who lost their loved ones in this natural calamity.
