Jammu, April 08: Apni Party Provincial President Jammu and Former Minister, S. Manjit Singh Saturday said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have accepted the equitable and developmental policy of Apni Party in all the regions.
According to a statement issued to media, Singh said this during party meeting cum joining program organized by Apni Trade Union, State President, Ajaz Kazmi.
S. Manjit Singh said that the Party has been widely accepted across all the regions of Jammu and Kashmir as the people are fed-up with the traditional political parties which they feel have cheated them.
“The people are not associating themselves with the traditional political parties. We have witnessed changes in the opinion of people who want development, employment, protection of natural resources and other things that belong to them,” he said.
He said that the industrial sector is witness to the growing unrest among the people around the industrial sectors in Jammu, Samba and Kathua.
“The youth are not being provided employment in the industrial sector and those who get change to do work in the companies are provided jobs on contract basis,” he alleged and stated that a multinational company in Bari Brahmana has expelled over 60 workers from their jobs without serving them notice and demanded reinstatement of the workers at their concerned company.
He said that Apni Party is the only political party that has sought reservation of jobs for the locals in the industrial sector and other political parties often prefer keeping silence.
On the occasion, Singh welcomed the new entrants into the party and hoped that their joining would strengthen the party.
