Apni Party releases list of 24 candidates

Srinagar, Aug 29: The Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party on Thursday released a list of 24 candidates for the upcoming assembly elections.
The announcement was made on Thursday, with party president Syed Mohammad Altaf set to contest from the Chanapora constituency.
According to the list, Mohammad Ashraf Mir will run for the Lal Chowk seat, while Zaffar Habib Shah has been chosen for Central-Shalteng. Other candidates include Mohammad Ashraf Palpori for Eidgah, Syed Muzaffar Rizvi for Bheerwah, and Riyaz Bhadana for Khan Sahib.
Ghulam Hassan Mir will represent Gulmarg, Yawar Dilawar Mir will contest from Rafiabad, and Ghulam Mohammad War will run for the Sopore seat. Shabir Ahmad Lone has been given a mandate for Baramulla, and Riyaz Ahmad Sheikh will contest from Pattan.
The list also includes Shabir Ahmad Shah for Wagoora-Kreeri, Imtiyaz Ahmad Parray for Sonawari, and Raja Manzoor for Karnah. Mohammad Amin Bhat will run in Kupwara, Abdul Rahim Wani in Lolab and Dr Noor-ud-Din Shah in Trehgam. Mohammad Munawar Khawaja has been selected for Langate.
In Jammu, Manjit Singh will contest from Vijaypur, Adv. Sahil Bharti from Ramgarh, and Adv. Lovely Mangol from Samba (SC). Ch. Yasir Ali will represent Bani, Syed Manzoor Hussain Shah will run in Rajouri (ST), and Shah Mohammad Tantray will contest from Poonch-Haveli.
