Srinagar, July 26: The 12th edition of the annual tech extravaganza – TechKnow will be held on 28th and 29th July 2024 at DPS Srinagar.
The gala is hosted and conducted every year by CyberCrew, the tech club of DPS Srinagar. Participants are provided with hands-on training by students and experts in a wide range of tech domains including: Digital Marketing, Game Development, Graphic Design, Programming Essentials, Robotics, Video Editing, and Web Development.
Pertinent to mention that around 200 students have been trained each year in the past eleven years by the school. The edition of this year will be sponsored by Khyber Cements, Rehmat Spices, Physicswallah Vidyapeeth, RED FM and Signature Advertisements. An open exhibition will be held at the end of the event where students can display their tech projects and freshly learned skills.
Speaking on the occasion the Principal, Shafaq Afshan said, “TechKnow is a part of the school’s endeavour to build a generation that is familiar with technology and can efficiently use resources. Students will learn invaluable skills and be encouraged to pursue the fields in the future to build on their existing knowledge.” The Chairman Vijay Dhar said, “At DPS Srinagar we endeavour to train students with an eye on the future and futuristic avenues. TechKnow is a step in that direction to make students ready to join a trained and future-ready workforce.”
Registrations are open for students from Grades 6 to 12 across the valley. Educational institutions are invited to register and join the enriching experience on the official TechKnow website techknow.dpssrinagar.com. Individual registrations are not allowed.
