Anantnag, Apr 17:Marking a remarkable achievement , Mohammad FarhanSeh (27) of BraghamDooru in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, has achieved the distinct feat by cracking the prestigious Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination.
Prior to his outstanding achievement in the UPSC, Farhan had successfully qualified for the Jammu and Kashmir Police Service (JKPS) in 2020. He is currently serving as Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) in Jammu and Kashmir Police.
Farhan told Rising Kashmir that he completed his schooling from St Peter’s International Academy which is located in his home district only and pursued his BTech from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. He had previously qualified the state services, accumulating three and a half years of service experience.
“It’s not solely about studying, we all have diverse passions and ambitions such as cricket, photography, besides academics, these ambitions also play a significant role in shaping our paths,” he said.
He encouraged youngsters to work hard and pursue their passion, and said that continuous effort is key to success in life.
“One can effectively care for their parents, their health, and everyone around them during the journey to success,” he added.
He acknowledged the primary role of parents and the invaluable guidance and support he received from his immediate seniors in the Jammu and Kashmir Police. Despite the challenges of studying while in service, he expressed his gratitude towards them for being a support to help him successfully overcome them. He also appreciated the support of his wife, especially considering their recent marriage.
“If the Almighty has bestowed blessings upon us, it is our duty to extend help to those we are associated with – a principle I have diligently followed throughout my three and a half years of service and hope to continue the same in future,” he added.
