All India Federation Cup Carrom Tournament: J&K Carrom team leaves for Varanasi to represent JK at 27th

Srinagar, Mar 24:J&K Carrom team leaves for Varanasi on Friday to represent J&K UT at 27th All India Federation Cup Carrom Tournament 2022-23 to be held from 26th March to 29th March 2023 at Jeevan Deep Educational Institute Varanasi Uttar Pradesh. 
 
The Championship is organised by All India Carrom Federation & hosted by Uttar Pradesh Carrom Association,The team were flagged off by Adil Rashid Shah, President J&K Carrom Association with Arif Sultan Khan Vice President of the Association from the TRC, Srinagar.
 
Jammu and Kashmir Carrom Association selected members team include Furqan Nazir, Umar Rashid and Mohammad Irfan in the men team and Anzalna Rafiq & Zainab Ajaz in the Women team for the participation in the said national.
 
Earlier, the players were selected by selection committee of the J&K Sports Council headed by Nuzhat Ara (Divisional Sports Officer Kashmir),Maqsood Khan (Manager SKISC) with the members of the J&K Carrom Association headed by Adil Rashid Shah President, Arif Sultan Vice President and Dawar Rashid Astt. Secretary of the J&K Carrom Association were also part of the screening committee of the Association.
