JAMMU, Sept 08: In preparation for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to Jammu and Kashmir, the RSS has ramped up its efforts to bolster support for the BJP. Pracharaks, full-time Vistaraks, and numerous Swayamsevaks from across the country have arrived in Jammu to support the BJP’s campaign.
With 500 RSS Shakhas in the Jammu region alone, the Sangh has instructed all Shakha heads (karyavahs) and Swayamsevaks to conduct extensive public outreach. Their goal is to highlight the BJP government’s welfare schemes and upcoming development plans.
The RSS has divided Jammu into three districts for better organization: Jammu Vibhag, Raghunath Zilla (39 Shakhas), Bahu (27 Shakhas), and Mukherjee Zilla (30 Shakhas). Additionally, there are 404 Shakhas in Rajouri, Poonch, Kathua, Udhampur, and Samba. Swayamsevaks from these Shakhas are actively working to rally support for the BJP.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah recently affirmed that the BJP will leverage all its resources to secure its government in J&K, underscoring the intensified efforts by the RSS.
