Lok Sabha election: General Observer, DEO visit Batalik, Sodh areas to inspect preparations

Kargil, May 16, 2024: General Observer for 1-Ladakh Parliamentary Constituency (Kargil), Harikesh Meena (IAS) along with Deputy Commissioner/District Election Officer Kargil Shrikant Suse (IAS) on Thursday visited Batalik and Sodh areas to inspect the preparations for Lok Sabha election-2024.
During the visit, the General Observer and DC/DEO Kargil visited various Polling Stations including Government Middle School Darchiks, Govt. High School Garkone, Govt. Middle School Silmo and Govt. Higher Secondary School Akchamal.
The General Observer took a detailed assessment of basic amenities and facilities available at the Polling Stations for the voters participating in the upcoming Lok Sabha Election.
Tehsildar Kargil Tanveer Ahmed; Liaison Officer to General Observer/AEE R&B Division Haji Ali Khan besides other concerned officers accompanied the General Observer during the tour.
