Srinagar, Jan 12: In the conclusion of District Srinagar Volleyball Championship,‘Elite Volleyball Club’ lifts the title in girls by beating Women College M.A. Road in straight 2-0 sets. Iffat, Asmat, Rumaisa were best performers in the finals.
In boys section, Srinagar Spartans Volleyball club beat Foreshore Vollyball club in 3 set nail bitter final. Anas Younis single handedly directed his team into victory.
The Chief Guest on the event was Umar Malik. Guest honours were Peer Mahek, Muzzamil Nazir.
The team for the forth coming state championship for boys and girls were selected as well.
The event was held in Sher-e-kashmir indoor stadium gogjibagh. Players express their gratitude towards Sports Council for allowing the association to conduct the districts srinagar volleyball championship in indoors.
