Kishtwar, Feb 01: In order to ensure proper compliance of the Official Language Policy, a one-day online Hindi workshop on Official Language Implementation was organized at Power Station on Wednesday.
During the online Hindi workshop, all the participants were informed about the acts, rules and articles related to the official language contained in the constitution. The area-wise classification of the country on the basis of official language implementation and information about the targets given by the Department of Official Language was provided. The speaker faculty was taught to work smoothly in the official language through innovative technical tools. Information was also provided to all the employees on other topics related to official language such as documents covered under section 3(3), incentive schemes and daily quiz competition available on intranet etc.
In this workshop, a lecture was delivered by Rajesh Kumar Srivastava, Deputy Director Rajbhasha from the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, as the speaker faculty.
On the occasion, all the participants expressed interest to use more and more Hindi in official work and to ensure compliance of the Annual Programme issued by the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. At the end of the workshop, M K Kashyap, Group General Manager (Incharge) Dulhasti Power Station took feedback from the participants and encouraged them to use Hindi in their all official work.
