Four members of a family from Haltmatpora village in Kupwara district were referred to a hospital in Srinagar after consuming forest herbs.
The family, including a husband-wife duo, son, and daughter, experienced health issues and were initially taken to Sub District Hospital (SDH) in Kupwara.
However, they were later transferred to Srinagar for advanced treatment. Medical Superintendent of SDH Kupwara, Dr Mohammad Shafi, confirmed the incident and stated that all four family members had consumed the forest herbs.
