Jammu and Kashmir Disaster Management Authority (JKDMA) on Friday issued an avalanche warning for Ganderbal district of Kashmir division, advising people against venturing out into the avalanche-prone areas.
A JKDMA Spokesperson said, “Avalanche with low danger level is likely to occur above 2700 metres above sea level over Ganderbal district in next 24 hours.
“People are advised to take precautions and avoid venturing in the avalanche prone areas till further orders”, it said.
