Mission Vatsalya Kulgam on Thursday organized a one-day ‘Sensitization cum Orientation and Training Programme’ on the Juvenile Justice Act 2015, POCSO Act 2012, and Child Rights at the Mini Secretariat, here.
The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan presided over the training program as chief guest.
Addressing the participants, the DC threw light on crucial aspects of the Juvenile Justice and Child Protection Act 2015, including the legal framework for juvenile justice, child protection measures, rehabilitation and reintegration of juvenile offenders, and other relevant topics.
The aim of the programme was to raise awareness regarding Child Rights and ensure the proper implementation of the Juvenile Justice Act in the district.
