From working tirelessly for the underprivileged to championing the rights of women and children, her contributions continue to weave the fabric of Kashmir’s socio-political consciousness.”The party reaffirmed its commitment to upholding the values she embodied. Her memory, they said, is not confined to the pages of history, but it lives on in every effort to restore the sanctity of the people’s rights in Jammu and Kashmir.“Begum Akbar Jehan Abdullah’s legacy is eternal—etched in the conscience of a people she uplifted,” they added.Among those who paid rich tributes were Party General Secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar, Treasurer Shammi Oberoi, Advisor to CM Nasir Aslam Wani, Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq, Provincial Presidents Showkat Ahmad Mir, Rattan Lal Gupta, Members of Parliament Mian Altaf Ahmad and Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi along with Political Advisors Mushtaq Guroo and Mudassar Shahmiri. Also commemorating her legacy were senior leaders including Abdul Rahim Rather, Mohammad Shafi Uri, Mubarak Gul, Nazir Ahmad Khan Gurezi, Sakina Itoo, Shameema Firdous, Choudhary Mohammad Ramzaan and YNC Provincial Presidents Mir Mushtaq and Tejinder Singh Aman as well as party’s Youth National Conference, Women’s Wing, Minority Wing, Media, and Social Media wings.
