Srinagar, May,19: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Provincial President Kashmir, Showkat Ahmad Mir Tuesday chaired a detailed meeting with office bearers of various party wings at the party headquarters, Nawa-e-Subha to review ongoing initiatives, public outreach programmes and the functioning of different wings.
Addressing the gathering, Mir took a firm stance against the ongoing attacks from the PDP-BJP alliance saying, “Time and again the baseless allegations and manufactured narratives propagated by the PDP-BJP axis are being rejected outright by the people,” he said adding “ Their attempts to malign the National Conference and mislead the public have failed, as the citizens continue to place their trust in our party’s credibility, vision and commitment to the welfare of Jammu and Kashmir.”
He emphasized that the National Conference remains committed to strengthening its engagement with the public, implementing effective welfare initiatives, and countering any attempts at political misinformation with transparency and accountability.
Mir called upon party workers to remain united, vigilant and proactive in defending the interests of the people while continuing to uphold the values and legacy of the National Conference.
