An earthquake of 3.6 magnitude on the Richter Scale hit Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.
According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the quake struck the Bandipora region in Jammu and Kashmir at 15:24 PM today.
Till now there are no reports of any collateral damage of injuries due to the quake. The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometres.
In a post on X, NCS wrote, “EQ of M: 3.6, On: 14/03/2025 15:24:15 IST, Lat: 34.62 N, Long: 74.86 E, Depth: 10 Km, Location: Bandipore, Jammu and Kashmir.”
