Srinagar, Jan 28: Well Care Medical Well Care Medical Institute (WMI), at Ahmad Nagar, 90 feet road, Srinagar Tuesday conducted a free Urology OPD by Urologist, Dr Waseem Ashraf and ENT OPD by ENT consultant, Dr Farah Deeba.
Dr Waseem Ashraf, noted Urologist provided free consultation in the OPD. In addition to consultations, free investigations like uroflowmetry, Urea/Creatinine and urine examination was also done.
Dr Waseem said, “various patients with different urological disorders like prostatomegaly, urolithiasis and urinary incontinence were examined and treated accordingly and they were also provided counselling regarding their health issues”.
Dr Waseem did his MCh Urology from SKIMS and has been the former Assistant Professor, Department of Urology K D Medical College, UP and is now back in the Kashmir valley for good to serve the patients here. He will now be regularly available for routine OPDs and surgical interventions.
Dr Farah Deeba examined various patients with symptoms of earache, ear discharge, speech problems, hearing loss, nasal blocks. Patients were examined and treated in addition to that they were counselled.
Dr Farah has completed MS ENT and Head and Neck Surgery from Government Medical College, Srinagar, and has formerly worked as Registrar/Senior Resident in GMC Srinagar. She will be available for routine OPDs and surgical interventions.
Dr Masood-ul- Hassan, Medical Director WMI said “we have been continuously organising various free medical camps previously also in addition to the present one so that the local population gets benefitted”.
