Ganderbal, Jan 9: A road accident took place at Gagangeer area of Gund in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Thursday leaving four persons injured, two of them critical.
Official sources said that the accident happened when an Alto vehicle bearing registration number JK16C-3386 skidded off the road and collided with a wall.
The accident left four passengers injured, who were immediately rushed to the Primary Health Centre (PHC) Kullan for medical attention of which two were seriously wounded, who were referred to SKIMS, Soura for advanced treatment.
Out of the injured, two individuals—identified as Irfan Ahmad Thakrey son of Muhammad Qasim and Sahil Ahmad Magray son of Manzoor Ahmed—were referred to Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Soura, for advanced treatment due to the severity of their injuries. The other two were identified as Moomin Ahmed and Manzoor Ahmed son of Noor Muhammad and Sameer Ahmed Shergojri son of Abdul Gaffar, all residents of Cherwan, Kangan.
