Jammu, Nov 03: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national general secretary Tarun Chugh on Sunday visited the residence of the late Devender Singh Rana in Jammu who passed away recently.
Chugh and Union Minister Prahlad Joshi expressed heartfelt sympathy to the grieving family. They conveyed his sincere condolences to the family members, including Rana’s elder brother, Union Minister of State Dr Jitendra Singh.
The leaders paid their respects to the late BJP leader, honouring his contributions to the community and his enduring legacy in public service.
Chugh highlighted the strong sense of respect and solidarity among party leaders and the profound loss felt by the community at Devender Singh Rana’s demise.
Meanwhile, Tarun Chugh congratulated Sat Sharma and Ravinder Raina on their new roles in the party’s J&K unit and at the national level.
Following the changes, Sharma, a former MLA, was on Sunday appointed as the new president of the BJP’s J&K unit, while Raina, the outgoing president, has been elevated to the party’s national executive.
Chugh praised both leaders, expressing confidence in their ability to strengthen the party’s presence in J&K and at the national level.
