The marathon/plog run was flagged-off by the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Shakeel ul Rehman along with ADC Umar Shafi Pandit and District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Jatinder Singh.
The marathon/plog run was aimed to raise awareness about the importance of cleanliness and the urgent need to reduce single-use plastics.
Participants, including youth, sports enthusiasts, and students from different schools, participated in large numbers to support this noble cause.
