Srinagar, July 14: Janata Dal United President for Jammu & Kashmir, G M Shaheen on Sunday held an in-depth discussion with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.

The meeting, according to the JDU statement issued here, was aimed at fostering development and inclusivity in the Union Territory. The meeting aimed to bring together diverse perspectives and build a unified approach to the region’s development, the party said.

During the discussion, Shaheen emphasized the importance of engaging with Islamic scholars and political leaders to create a more inclusive environment that addresses the needs and aspirations of all residents of Jammu & Kashmir. He said the goal is to harness diverse perspectives and work collectively towards sustainable development and peace in the region.

Shaheen said, “Our collective efforts are crucial in shaping a prosperous future for Jammu and Kashmir. By working together with political leaders and Islamic scholars, we can pave the way for sustainable development and peace in the region.” The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to continue these dialogues and implement strategies that promote the holistic development of Jammu & Kashmir.
