Ghazipur, Sept 27:  In a significant event held at Ghazipur, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha addressed a seminar organized by the Utthan Foundation Trust to commemorate the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya.
Paying tribute to the visionary leader Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, Lieutenant Governor Sinha emphasized the enduring significance of Upadhyaya’s Mantra of Integral Humanism in guiding India’s socio-economic, cultural, and spiritual growth. He stressed how this philosophy is pivotal to India’s journey towards self-reliance and the development of a prosperous nation.
In his address, Lt Governor Sinha highlighted the importance of new ideas and resolutions as the bedrock for societal development. He underscored that resolve is the true power and collective strength of a society, and India stands at the cusp of a new era with rising aspirations, united in the resolve to make the 21st century India’s century.
The event also witnessed Lt. Governor Sinha sharing insights into the government’s efforts under the leadership of the Prime Minister to foster inclusive development. He noted that the developmental journey of the country over the past nine years has infused a new sense of determination across all sectors, bolstering India’s strength and self-confidence. He pointed out that India’s economy now ranks among the world’s top economies, and its international standing has grown, notably through its successful G20 Presidency and the New Delhi Leaders’ Declaration.
“India is not only emerging as a world leader, but is also ensuring that the countries of the Global South and the Global North achieve the goal of inclusive development and tackle the challenges of climate change through mutual cooperation,” he added.
During the commemorative event, Lt. Governor Sinha honoured veteran members of the Jan Sangh and also felicitated children from tribal communities who had excelled in various sports disciplines, showcasing the importance of inclusive development and empowerment.
The event was attended by Sachidanand Rai, President of the Utthan Foundation Trust, along with members of the Trust, eminent personalities, youth, and a large number of enthusiastic participants.
