410,027 students to appear in classes 10th, 11th, 12th annual exams in Soft and Hard zones

Srinagar, Mar 08: A total of 410,027 students in the Jammu and Kashmir union territory and Union Territory of Ladakh will be taking the annual regular examinations in 2024 for classes 10th, 11th, and 12th in the Soft and Hard zones.
In 10th grade, there are 164,580 students participating in the examinations, with 143,740 students from soft zones and 20,840 students from hard zones.
Moving on to the 11th grade, there are 139,498 students appearing in the examinations, with 126,290 students from Soft zones and 13,208 students from Hard zones.
Similarly, in the 12th grade, there are 105,949 students participating in the examinations, with 96,460 students from Soft zones and 9,460 from Hard zones.
For 12th-grade students in the soft zones, the annual regular examinations will start on March 6, 2024, and end on March 28, 2024. Likewise, 11th-grade exams are scheduled from March 30, 2024, to April 25, 2024.
However, the JKBOSE has postponed the first vocational subjects examinations, which were supposed to start on March 7, 2024, and conclude on April 3, 2024.
The exams for 12th-grade students in the Hard zones are set to begin on April 8, 2024, and end on May 11, 2024. Meanwhile, 10th-grade examinations will start on April 4, 2024, and conclude on May 6, 2024. Additionally, 11th-grade exams are scheduled from April 12, 2024, to May 16, 2024.
