4-days legal awareness, welfare camp held for devotees at Mela kheer bhawani Tulamulla

Ganderbal, Jun 14: Following the directions of Justice N. Kotiswar Singh, the Chief Justice, High Court of J&K and Ladakh (Patron-in-Chief J&K Legal Services Authority), and Justice Tashi Rabstan, Executive Chairman, J&K Legal Services Authority, the District Legal Services Authority Ganderbal in collaboration with Kashmir Jurists held 4 days legal awareness and welfare camp besides installed a help desk for devotees at Mela kheer bhawani Tulamulla from 11th of June to 14th of June, 2024.
The aim of the camp was to impart Legal awareness/Assistance to the devotees and make them aware about the role of legal services authorities in general and Legal Services Authority Ganderbal and the various Welfare Schemes available to the people.
The camp was held under the active Supervision of Amit Kumar Gupta, Member Secretary, J&k Legal Services Authority and Ritesh Kumar Dubey, Chairman District Legal Services Authority (Pr. District & Sessions Judge) Ganderbal, and under the guidance of Nusrat Ali Hakak, Secretary DLSA Ganderbal.
Member Secretary, J&K Legal Services Authority during his visit to the camp/help desk and gave several directions to the PLVs of DLSA Ganderbal who were serving there and appreciated the efforts of DLSA Ganderbal. He also praised the Kashmir jurists association for their collaboration.
Secretary DLSA Ganderbal also visited the camp, interacted with the devotees and informed devotees as well as other people present there about the role and working of Legal Services authorities. She said, the main motto of DLSA is to get the helpless, poor and deprived class of people benefited from government projects in the villages & other marginalized areas.
During the four days long camp, PLVs of DLSA gave vital legal tips to devotees and asked them to report to their nearest legal services authorities if they faced any legal problems.
Pertinently, more than Eight thousand pilgrims visited the help desk/Legal awareness camp who were educated about NALSA Schemes and duties by DLSAs. Several grievances were also received at the camp and almost 10 number grievances were redressed on spot through proper legal advice and at pre litigation stage by the members of Kashmir jurists and PLVs of DLSA Ganderbal.
Among others, Rtd. Judges of High Court of J&K and Ladakh, M.K Sharma, Principal Secretary to the Chief Justice of High Court of J&K and Ladakh, Rtd. Judicial Officers, Advocates also visited the legal awareness camp/help desk of DLSA Ganderbal and appreciated the efforts of DLSA Ganderbal.
