Srinagar, Aug 19: The 12th meeting of the Faculty of Fisheries, Rangil, Ganderbal, SKUAST-K was convened on 19th August, 2025 at the Rangil Campus under the chairmanship of Prof. Farooz A. Bhat, Dean, Faculty of Fisheries. At the outset, Prof. Feroz A. Shah, Member Secretary, extended a warm welcome to the participants.According to a statement issued here, Dean, Faculty of Fisheries in detail emphasised on the importance of statutory meeting of Faculty of Fisheries in taking the various importance decisions especially regarding the designing of Course curriculum, adoption and designing of various degree programmes etc and also deliberated about the agenda items taken up during the session.The meeting witnessed the participation of officers of SKUAST-K including Prof. Altaf Ahmad Bhat, Director Education, Prof. Arshad Mughal, Dean, Faculty of Forestry, Prof. Neelofer Bandey, Dean, Faculty of Horticulture, Prof. Riyaz A. Shah, Dean, FVSc & AH, Dr Nahida (Deputy Director, Dept. of Fisheries, Govt. of of Jammu & Kashmir), besides Professors, Heads of Divisions of the Faculty of Fisheries, and other members nominated by the University Authorities.The house deliberated upon various agenda items pertaining to academic curricula and related matters. The main Agenda was the adoption of 6th Dean’s Committee report (Syllabus) of ICAR in alignment of NEP 2024.
