Youth killed, two injured after car rolls down in Qazigund

Qazigund, June 30: A tragic road accident on Sunday evening claimed the life of a youth and left two others injured on the B Top road (old cart road) in Qazigund.An official said that three individuals were traveling in a car on their from B Top, a visitor attraction in the heights of the Pir Panchal range.
A health official confirmed that one of the injured was brought dead to the hospital. The deceased has been identified as Ummer Gull Bhat, 21, son of Gull Mohammad Bhat, a resident of Hiller.
The injured have been identified as Majid Ahmad Ganie, 25, son of Bashir Ahmad Ganie, and Adil Ahmad Itoo, 24, son of Mohammad Shafi Itoo, both residents of Hiller Shahabad.
The duo has been referred to Government Medical College (GMC), Anantnag for further treatment.
A police official said that the Alto car, bearing registration number JKO2AF 5269, was descending from B Top when it met with the accident.
A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway.
