Will ensure holistic dev in Bishnah, says MLA Dr Bhagat

Bishnah, Dec 25: Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Bishnah, Dr Rajeev Bhagat on Wednesday kick-started development projects, including the construction of lane drains, installation of tiles and other allied works worth Rs 113 lakh in different areas of Bishnah constituency.
“This initiative aligns with the vision of the Modi Government to ensure holistic development and improved living standards for citizens,” the MLA said while addressing a gathering on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Rajeev reiterated the government’s commitment to deliver efficient civic amenities and infrastructure upgrades. “The Modi government’s agenda of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas reflects in the developmental strides we are making in every corner of Jammu. These projects will significantly enhance the quality of life in Bishnah constituency and set a benchmark for progress,” he stated.
The event witnessed the presence of prominent citizens, who lauded the efforts of MLA and the government in ensuring that developmental works reach every area of Bishnah constituency, the statement said.
Highlighting the specifics of the projects, the MLA said the lanes and drains will be modernized with high-quality materials, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal. The blacktopping initiative will improve road connectivity, reduce commute time, and offer safer mobility for residents.“The timely execution of these projects under the vision of the Modi Government demonstrates a deep commitment to addressing the needs of the common people,” he added.
Dr Rajeev appealed to the people of Bishnah constituency to participate in developmental initiatives and assured them of continued efforts to make Bishnah a model constituency. “Together, we can create a better tomorrow for our children,” he remarked, reaffirming his dedication to development and public welfare.
He said the BJP government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi has introduced several initiatives aimed at transforming the lives of citizens. He specifically highlighted the numerous startup schemes that have immensely benefitted the youth in J&K, enabling them to harness opportunities for entrepreneurship and self-employment.
“Our youth have received substantial support through startup schemes introduced by the Modi government. These programs have not only encouraged entrepreneurship but have also created employment opportunities across various sectors,” he said.
MLA Rajeev assured local youth that, under BJP’s leadership, employment prospects would continue to grow, particularly with the establishment of premier educational institutions like IIM and IIT in the region. “We will ensure that the local youth benefit from employment opportunities in IIMs, IITs, and other institutions being set up in our area,” he assured.
