Jammu, Dec 20: “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra” is a revolutionary step towards democratizing public service delivery under the esteemed leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, said Priya Sethi, National Executive Member BJP and former minister.
Addressing a gathering in village Badsoo here in connection with the ongoing campaign of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, Priya said, “This nationwide yatra marks a paradigm shift in how our government connects with its citizens. For the first time, there’s a concerted effort to ensure that no section of society is left behind when it comes to accessing the wealth of welfare schemes implemented by the Modi government.”
The senior BJP leader commended the Prime Minister’s unwavering commitment to empowering the previously marginalized sections of society. “For years, these communities were overlooked and denied their rightful entitlements. Prime Minister Modi has not only rectified this historical injustice but has also instilled a culture of proactive outreach within the government,” she said.
Drawing attention to specific examples, Sethi highlighted the transformative impact of schemes like the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, and PM Vishwakarma Yojana. “These programs are tangible proofs of the Modi government’s unwavering commitment to the upliftment of every citizen. No longer do people need to navigate the labyrinthine world of bureaucracy – the government is actively seeking them out and ensuring they benefit from these initiatives,” she said.
There is hardly any house left which has not taken the benefit of Modi government schemes, she said, adding that Badsoo village has recently announced as ODF-free.
Furthermore, the former minister lauded the decisive abrogation of Article 370, terming it a watershed moment for Jammu & Kashmir and the nation as a whole.
