Udhampur Bus Tragedy: Death Toll Rises to 21, Dozens Injured

Udhampur, Apr 20: The death toll in the tragic passenger bus accident in Ramnagar area of Udhampur district has risen to 21, while 61 others have been reported injured.

Union Minister of State for Science and Technology Dr Jitendra Singh also expressed concern over the incident.

In a post on X, Dr Jitendra Singh wrote, "21 casualties so far and 61 injured. Injured have been shifted to Udhampur Hospital while the one more seriously injured is being airlifted to Government Medical college Jammu."

"My sincere condolences to the bereaved families. All possible assistance is being provided. My office is in constant touch," the post reads.
