Amin @ Khubaib S/O Dawood Butt R/O Kathwa, Phagsoo Thathri who among others joined militancy in early nineties and crossed the border for getting arms training, is presently operating from PAK/POK and is in desperate attempt to review militancy in Doda region by way of instigating the local youths of Doda District to join militancy for carrying out subversive activities.

It is to mention here that Saqib Hussain Mir S/O Mohabat Hussain Mir R/O Banola Chiralla on the behest of Pakistan based local terrorist Mohd Amin @ Khubaib was continuously instigating the youth to join militancy. Adil Iqbal Batt S/O Mohd Iqbal Batt R/O Sazan tehsil Bhagwah was also persuading the youth to join militancy and he was also apprehended with arms ammunition and incriminating material in Thathri area. In this regard, a case has been registered against him under relevant section of law at PS Thathri.

The spokesman said that their activities were highly detrimental and prejudicial to the security of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and therefore acting on the dossier of Police, the District Magistrate Doda ordered detention of both the OGWs under Public Safety Act to prevent them from acting in any manner prejudicial to the security of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
