Two non-labourers dead after wall collapses in Budgam

Budgam, Dec 02: Two non-labourers lost their lives and one sustained injuries following the collapse of a soil wall at the Ring Road Project site in the Ichgam area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
A police official confirmed to Rising Kashmir that two non-laborers died, while another was injured as the three individuals were working at the project site when the soil wall gave way.
An official from the Health Department Budgam said that the two deceased were pronounced dead upon arrival at the District Hospital Budgam, while the condition of the injured laborer is stable.
“The injured laborer has been referred to the Bones and Joint Hospital in Barzulla Srinagar, for further treatment,” the official said
Following the incident, the district administration, police, and health department promptly arrived at the scene to initiate rescue operations.
