Kulgam, Jan 20: Two youths from this south Kashmir’s Kulgam district have qualified for the prestigious Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) examination conducted by the Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC).
Rahil Amin, son of Mohammad Amin Malik of Qasba Khull Noorabad, and Zahid Rehman, son of Abdul Rehman Mir of Laroo Kulgam, are among the 187 successful candidates.
Rahil, from a small village in the Kulgam area, achieved this feat in his first attempt and scored 1058 marks, earning a rank of 109; while Zahid cracked the PSC CCE 2021 in his third attempt in the Open Merit category, with a rank of 68 and 1082.00 marks.
“I am grateful to Allah and want to credit my success to my parents and close friends,” Zahid said.
